On the weekend of the 24th and 25th of June 2006 an consultation even was held at the All Souls Church. The aim was to give the residents of the community a chance to give their ideas on what facilities and services the proposed redevelopment should provide.

The event was a huge success with over 350 people visiting over the weekend. Visitors included couples who had married at the church and those who had links to the church through families and friends.
